The pixel is a fundamental unit of digital imaging. It is a tiny pixel that acts as the smallest unit of a digital image. The interaction of many thousands or millions of pixels creates a coherent image. In art, the pixel has played a significant role, especially in digital art. The ability to create, edit and manipulate digital images on the computer has revolutionized art and enabled the emergence of new forms of artistic expression. By using pixels, artists can create images that are made up of a multitude of small elements, often with an abstract or pixelated look. An example of using pixels in art is the pixel art style. This style deliberately uses the limitations of older computer graphics systems, which could only display a limited number of colors and pixels. Artists using pixel art often create artwork that looks like 8-bit games or vintage computer graphics. The pixel is also often used as an artistic element in contemporary art. Artists can subdivide digital images into smaller pixels to create a larger image or to create a pixel pattern that guides the viewer's eye in a specific way. Overall, the pixel, as the fundamental unit of digital imaging, has influenced art in many ways. It has opened up new avenues of artistic expression and ushered in a new era of digital art that has pushed the boundaries of traditional understanding of art.

Who am I? I'm an underground artist. I've been an artist since the 1980s. In my youth I saw the beginnings of the PC and spent some of my free time with the first game consoles. I created and animated my first computer images in Basic as so-called "Datas". These were based on strings of numbers where each pixel had a numerical value separated by a comma. My artistic activities were varied. I drew, painted, created on the computer and also created graffiti. In the 1990s, I began studying art and successfully completed it. During my studies I founded my first company with a couple of fellow students. At the beginning of 2000 I founded my own company, which I continued to run for a few years after my studies until I decided to work for a world-famous company. My artistic activities then took place in the underground.
So who am I? One of many. Just like a pixel is one of many.
The collections of pixelbased art
All collections are available as NFTs at OpenSea. Each digital artwork shown here can be purchased on OpenSea as an NFT. All presented pictures have low resolutions. Only as NFT you get the original. The NFTs have different formates. This could be pictures, animated Gifs or video files.
Every image is unique.
If you have the NFT you get a digital present as a surprise.
Collection N°1: "Pixel levels"
This collection based on a pixel offset on two levels. The different colours give the picture a 3D effect. The images were created from a photo and have some realistic irregularities.
Every image is unique.
